1. Who we are and how to reach us

Jornadas Consultoria LTDA, based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data processed on this website. This policy explains what data we process, why, for how long and what your rights are, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, LGPD).

2. Data we process

Contact form

Data: name, email, organization (optional), area of interest, reference service (optional) and the message you write.

Purpose: to reply to you and, where appropriate, prepare a proposal.

Legal basis: preliminary steps related to a contract, at your request (art. 7, V), and legitimate interest in answering enquiries (art. 7, IX).

How it works: your message is transmitted by the Web3Forms service, which forwards it to Jornadas’ email, hosted on Google Workspace. Web3Forms keeps a copy for up to 30 days on servers outside Brazil.

Retention: we keep messages for up to 24 months after the last contact, to follow the history of the conversation, unless the law requires longer retention.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to know how many people visit each page. The tool does not use cookies and does not build visitor profiles; it works with aggregated data such as the page visited, country, device type and browser.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the website (art. 7, IX).

Access logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs technical connection data, such as IP address, date and time, for security and operation of the website. Retention of application access logs follows the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law 12,965/2014, art. 15).

WhatsApp and email

If you choose to contact us by WhatsApp or email, processing is also subject to the rules of those services (Meta and Google).

3. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and images are served from the website itself, without sending data to third parties.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. Access to messages is limited to the founding partners and the people involved in handling your request. Our processors are Cloudflare (hosting and statistics), Web3Forms (form) and Google (email). Some of these services process data outside Brazil; international transfers take place under art. 33 of the LGPD.

5. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no login area. Despite technical and administrative safeguards, no system connected to the internet is entirely immune to incidents. If a security incident occurs that may cause significant risk or harm, we will notify the data subjects and Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), as required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request at any time: confirmation that we process your data; access; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully; portability; information about sharing; and deletion of data processed on the basis of consent. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 18, §2) and lodge a complaint with the ANPD (art. 18, §1).

Requests are free of charge and handled at [email protected], after confirming your identity.

In your first contact, please send only a summary. Do not include confidential documents or sensitive personal data, such as health data, before a confidentiality agreement is in place.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or the law. The date of the version in force is shown at the top of the page.
